We are excited to welcome Orin Swift and their east coast national rep, for a night of drinking and eating California wine & cuisine!
Orin Swift has been a staple on the Starry Night wine list with a rotating selection of bottle pours throughout the years and it is our pleasure to invite you to taste through them as well. Some of you may know this, but our Chef, Robert, received most of his culinary experience in California at Michelin Star restaurants such as Providence and (formerly) Al's Place so bringing the Cali cuisine to the Starry kitchen is going to be a special event for us all!

Course One
Mannequin 2022
About | 100% Chardonnay / Mannequin is the Orin Swift manifestation of California Chardonnay. Sourced from vineyards in Russian River Valley, Atlas Peak, and Santa Maria Valley, then blended together to *"form a piece of liquid art"
Flavor Profile | Rich and layered - the palate is full of honeydew, yellow peach, and vanilla with a lush mouthfeel. A string of acidity is present and it finishes with fresh minerality and lemon pith.
Course Two
Slander 2023
About | 100% Pinot Noir / *"The union of California Pinot Noir made in the Orin Swift signature style delivering a bold and expressive wine"
Flavor Profile | High-toned and fragrant - rose petal and violets layered with blood orange nuances and vanilla. Medium-to-full bodied, the palate is intensely expressive with red cherry, black raspberry and warming spices.
Course Three
You Had Me At Hell No, No Advice From John
About | 100% Merlot / *"All good things circle back around" and the same goes for Merlot. This wine has a story to tell!
Flavor Profile | Notes of blackberry pie, black plum, sage and lilac. The long finish has flavors of espresso bean and continued concentrated blackberry which fades to gentle and soft tannins.
Course Four
A Sign of the Times 2023
About | Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Syrah, Grenache / This limited release is a tribute to the new and ever changing ways technology and art evolve.
Flavor Profile | Full-bodied with beautifully integrated tannins. Black plum, black currant, dark chocolate, violets and leather with a finish of blood orange acidity.
Course Five / Dessert
8 Years in the Desert 2023
About | Zinfandel, Petite Syrah, Syrah / If you've heard of Orin Swift, you've probably heard the story about wine maker Dave Phinney's time in the desert. We've decided to give this wine the twist it deserves and make it the star of our dessert.
Flavor Profile | Known for being jammy and rich, featuring notes of blueberry, raspberry, coffee and chocolate.
